DAY 3-RESEARCH

School children are taught how to access the Internet, but so are patrons of libraries, community centers, and senior citizen centers. Readily available Internet access has opened the door wide for the world of e-commerce.


Research by Jupiter Media Metrix showed that 13.4 million households banked online from July 2000 to July 2001, a 77.6 percent increase in one year alone. In late 2001 Jupiter predicted online sales would reach $104 billion in 2005.


An important difference between traditional business and e-commerce is the elimination of the middleman, known as disintermediation . Businesses and consumers can communicate directly to carry out transactions, which can help entrepreneurs market their products or services without the cost of salespeople or product representatives.


Some key terms to Digital Commerce: Shopping Cart, Security (SSL), Micropayments, and Electronic Wallets.

Definition-  A digital economy is an economy based on electronic goods and services produced by an electronic business and traded through electronic commerce. That is, a business with electronic production and management processes and that interacts with its partners and customers and conducts transactions through Internet and Web technologies.

Day 1 investigation reflection

I have decided to do my project on digital commerce. Digital commerce is the buying and selling of items online. I will be focusing on the buying and selling of illegal items, broken items or false items. Examples are drugs guns and things of that sort.

Aaron did not have proper etiquette because he dbehaved bad  on the internet.  
gilberts conduct, or way of acting, was unacceptable because he was being a bully

• Etiquette: Every person should know how to practice good etiquette.
• Conduct: People who have bad conduct usually end up in jail.
• Courtesy: Parents must teach their children common courtesy.
• Flame: Many websites I have seen have had people flaming others through comments.
• Troll: A lot of great information on the web has been downplayed because trolls have claimed the articles "fake."
• Anonymous: Just because you are anonymous on the internet, does not mean that you have a right to be rude.

I was able to complete my final product today and also create a well written survey for the sixth graders my day was very productive i finished everything. I rate myself a 4 for today.

Today I was working on my final project. I am going to create a comic book because it is pretty easy to do. and i will be able to get my point across to everyone and let them learn the design cycle.

Reflection.

In my opinion I think that I deserve a 4 on my progress so far. I know I have not worked that hard and have not been taking my time seriously. I am though getting everything done slowly but surely i am getting everything done I am staying on track to finish everything. I do believe that i do deserve a 4 though because right know i am trying my best. I am doing everything in my power to complete this assignment. I know I have not taken my time the right way but i will complete this assignment.

                                           Comic Book

The comic book is a very good attention grabber especially to a restless sixth grader. This will also teach them something while they are reading there comics and learning about the design cycle.

The back ground Is also a very good thing because it will keep the kids into the whole process to stay focused and be able to learn the design cycle.
The font is all about the comic book it is all writing that will tell them about the design cycle. It is going to be a fun bubble font or a crazy funny font
it will be kinda difficult though it is a comic book and we have to add the design cycle into it and it will be good.

                                            Flip Book

The comic book is not that good it is not as good as the comic book it is really to simple. The attention grabber will not be as i want it. The back  ground will just be bland and we wont be able to entertain anyone. Back Ground will not be able to help the student to stay on task.

The font and the text will all be the same. But the simplicity is easy it is one of the easiest ones to do.

Reflection

Today I  did some researched on some ways that I could teach the design cycle to some sixth graders. What I learned today is that you have to keep it entertaining because nobody likes a boring thing. i looked at some flip books and some videos. There where also other things like a treasure hunt. the two that i will be comparing are "Domo animate" and "Flip book" Domo website was ok i really did not get it that much all the videos looked the same it was not very good it did have some pro and cons because it did get its point across. The flip book I thought was one of the best but one flaw was that the videos were very fast. Some of them had no idea what they where doing and others where great flip book is great.
